Shout Section Big Band plays at this downtown staple every 3rd Monday. We play classic big band charts and new/original arrangements off our new record. Sets at 6 and 8:30.

4/20 - Shout Section Big Band

7:30-9 at The Baker Center in St. Charles

Shout Section Big Band will play a special concert of the original, Paul Whiteman arrangement of the George Gershwin masterpiece "Rhapsody in Blue." They are flying in a great pianist who has mastered this piece, Jeffery LaDeur, for this performance. I'll be covering the piano chair for the rest of the big band set.

4/27 - Bill Pantle's A Tribute to Old Blue Eyes

7-10 at Primo's in Gurnee

Bill and his quartet will bring his music honoring Frank Sinatra to Primo's Italian American Steakhouse in Gurnee.

5/13 - Big Band Boom!

8-11 at The Gallery Cabaret in Chicago

This band, led by Matt Kern, plays a wide range of material in this local, lovely dive. We play charts from the classic Basie to Thad and Mel, and even get into some crazy arrangements of classical composers. Also, if you come around 6, vocalist Cass Foley and I will play a duo set. No cover!
